A great Cuvee red wine is the Rust en Vrede Estate from South Africa, which is made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah and 10% Merlot grapes. The grapes grown on the winery are picked and sorted by hand. Each harvest plot is vinified separately. The wine is aged for 22 months in 100% French oak barrels. The grapes, which are named after the plantings on the winery, come from 3 different plots. This wine has a great bouquet on the nose of leather and notes of tobacco and a very round taste on the palate.
