Contadi Castaldi's Franciacorta Brut Rosé originates from vineyards situated in the heart of the Franciacorta DOCG region.
The wine is crafted using hand-harvested Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, carefully picked between late August and early September. Following a gentle pressing, the grape must undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Afterward, the wine is aged for 7 months in steel tanks and partially in oak barrels before being bottled.
This Rosé wine displays a vibrant coral pink color and showcases a delicate and persistent effervescence. The aroma reveals enticing notes of berries, rose petals, apples, and tropical fruits. On the palate, it exhibits a savory character and a well-structured profile, culminating in a long and harmonious finish.
An excellent choice as an aperitif, this wine pairs wonderfully with appetizers and cold cuts, creating an ideal combination.
