The grapes for the Dreissigacker Chardonnay come from biodynamically cultivated vineyards around Bechtheim and Westhofen in Rheinhessen. The berries are selectively picked by hand and then gently pressed in the winery.
As with all Dreissigacker wines, we attach great importance to careful processing of the Chardonnay. The precious grapes are transported exclusively by falling pressure, i.e. with the help of gravity. We do not use pumps out of conviction, as these would only strain our wines unnecessarily. The preliminary clarification of the Dreissigacker wines is carried out exclusively by means of sedimentation. In addition, we refrain from using any treatment agents during the entire manufacturing process.
